The topic of the thesis is “The investigation of plasma turbulence on the spherical tokamak Globus-M2 using Doppler backscattering”. The aim of this work is to detect the suppression of peripheral plasma turbulence during the transition to H-mode on the Globus-M2 tokamak. To achieve this, multi-frequency Doppler backscattering was implemented, allowing measurements in an area with radii ρ = 0,5-1,1. As a result, the work demonstrated the possibility of studying the LH transition by means of the DBS diagnostics and new information about plasma turbulence of the Globus-M2 tokamak was obtained. Profiles of the electric field and poloidal rotation velocity in L-mode and H-mode were measured. The multi-frequency DBS method allowed to calculate the velocity shear with values of about 3 × 10^5 s^-1 just before transition to H-mode. In addition, plasma turbulence suppression was observed during the LH transition in the plasma edge. It was also shown that the turbulence correlation length decreases by 1,5 after transition to H-mode. This means that the increasing velocity shear and decreasing level of peripheral turbulence and correlation length in H-mode are related phenomena. It was found that the rotation velocity of plasma turbulence reacts to ELM in the peripheral and inner plasma regions. It has been estimated that plasma fluctuations react to ELMs at a distance of 6 cm inside the separatrix. The direction of the radial movement of the ELMs was analyzed to be from the inner plasma region to the periphery with a velocity of 8 km/s.
