The main purpose of the masters work is to develop a 3D printer for printing large parts using Direct Energy Deposition technology. The paper analyzes the existing DED printers. Trends in the development of technology on the basis of scientific publications over the past 16 years are analyzed. On their basis the conclusion about the relevance of the work is made. The principle of DED-printer with four simultaneously working manipulators, each of which is equipped with a printing head, is presented. The scheme of the main elements of a 3D-printer for printing large-size parts using the Direct Energy Deposition technology was developed. A complete 3D model of the production complex has been developed. The area of the working area of 6x2x2 meters is provided. Printing speed of at least 4 kg/h is ensured. Technical solution for identification of positioning of repaired parts in the working area is presented. A welded base that includes a device for fixing the table is designed. The control system of 3D-printer control is considere. Practical Significance. The results obtained can be used to introduce 3D printing at the existing production facilities.
