Данная работа посвящена изучению, анализу и выявлению тенденций цифровизации высшего образования в Российской Федерации и Федеративной Республике Германия. Задачи, которые решались в ходе исследования для достижения поставленной цели:  описать историю развития цифровой трансформации в сфере образования в мировой практике;  проанализировать (сравнить методы, сходства и различия) процесс цифровизации высшего образования в Российской Федерации и Федеративной Республике Германии;  сравнить методы, сходства и различия процесса цифровизации высшего образования в России и Германии;  выявить основные перспективы цифровой трансформации высшего образования. В результате исследования были изучены характеристики и особенности процесса цифровизации в сфере образования, факторы, повлиявшие на создание новых форм обучения, а также характерные особенности перехода высшего образования на цифровой формат в России и Германии. В заключении сделаны выводы, что цифровизация высшего образования в России и Германии хоть и имеет схожие предпосылки и особенности становления на начальном этапе, то в современных реалиях методы и направления развития в рассматриваемых странах различаются.

This work is devoted to the study, analysis and identification of trends in the digitalization of higher education in the Russian Federation and the Federal Republic of Germany. Tasks that were solved during the research to achieve the set goal:  to describe the history of the development of digital transformation in the field of education in the world practice;  to analyze (compare methods, similarities and differences) the process of digitalization of higher education in the Russian Federation and the Federal Republic of Germany;  to compare the methods, similarities and differences of the digitalization process of higher education in Russia and Germany;  to identify the main prospects for the digital transformation of higher education. As a result of the research, the characteristics and features of the digitalization process in the field of education, the factors that influenced the creation of new forms of education, as well as the characteristic features of the transition of higher education to the digital format in Russia and Germany were studied. In conclusion, it is concluded that the digitalization of higher education in Russia and Germany, although it has similar prerequisites and features of formation at the initial stage, in modern realities, the methods and directions of development in the countries under consideration differ.
