The work is devoted to the study of compositions and properties of biocompatible gels based on carboxymethylcellulose and the possibility of culturing cells on them. In the future, the obtained bioinks are supposed to be used as the basic material for all 3D-bioprinting applications. Crosslinking and stability of the structure were achieved by adding alginate, and biocompatibility was achieved by adding collagen. The resulting gels meet the requirements for bioinks used for 3D bioprinting. After printing, the constructs remain stable over time. Cytological analysis concluded that cultured mesenchymal stromal cells proliferate and do not undergo necrosis on the developed gels. All the above points indicate that the developed carboxymethylcellulose-based gels can be used as the main material for 3D bioprinting.
