The given work is devoted to the study of the effect of dopamine transporter gene knockout (DAT) on the myelination processes and behavioral characteristics in rats during their natural development. The dopaminergic system plays an important role in the regulation of various physiological processes and disorders in its work can lead to the development of central nervous system diseases. However, the literature contains little data on the relationship between dopamine metabolism disorders associated with DAT knockout and myelination. The aim of this work was to identify the relationship between behavioral disorders and disorders of the myelination process in rats with genetically determined disorders of dopamine metabolism during postnatal development. During the study, it was shown that knockout of the DAT gene leads to delays in the formation of both motor and sensory reflexes, and also causes changes in the mRNA levels of the main proteins involved in the myelination process: mag, olig2, plp1.
