Объектом данного исследования выступают 6 ведущих нефтегазовых компаний РФ, являющихся значимыми участниками отечественного фондового рынка; предметом исследования – непосредственно их доходность акций на фондовом рынке. В рамках работы рассмотрены теоретические основы доходности акций, а также методика событийного анализа. Приведена характеристика и анализ структуры нефтегазовой отрасли. Выделены крупнейшие компании в рассматриваемой отрасли; проведен сравнительный анализ доходности акций компаний нефтегазовой отрасли до и после введения санкций. Идентифицированы события, которые потенциально могли оказать влияние на доходность акций нефтегазовой отрасли РФ.  Так же проанализировано влияние событий на динамику доходности акций крупнейших компаний нефтегазовой отрасли РФ методом событийного анализа. Методы исследования: общенаучные методы, метод событийного анализа. По результатам исследования было выявлено, что санкции оказывают краткосрочное влияние на компании нефтегазового сектора РФ. Наиболее значимыми событиями оказались вступление в силу 12-го и 13-го пакетов санкций. Событийный анализ проводился с помощью пакета MS Office (Excel).

The object of this study is 6 leading oil and gas companies of the Russian Federation, which are significant participants in the domestic stock market; the subject of the study is their profitability of shares on the stock market. As part of the work, the theoretical foundations of stock returns, as well as the methodology of event analysis, are considered. The characteristics and analysis of the structure of the oil and gas industry are given. The largest companies in the industry under consideration are identified; a comparative analysis of the profitability of shares of oil and gas companies before and after the imposition of sanctions is carried out. The events that could potentially have an impact on the profitability of shares in the Russian oil and gas industry have been identified.  The influence of events on the dynamics of the profitability of shares of the largest companies in the oil and gas industry of the Russian Federation is also analyzed by the method of event analysis. Research methods: general scientific methods, the method of event analysis. According to the results of the study, it was revealed that sanctions have a short-term impact on companies in the oil and gas sector of the Russian Federation. The most significant events were the entry into force of the 12th and 13th packages of sanctions. The event analysis was carried out using the MS Office (Excel) package.
