The subjects of research of the final qualification work are the designs of current collectors for the transmission of electrical energy. The topic of the work is the creation of a finite element current receiver model and its analysis to assess the stability of the structure. The aim of the work is to develop and analyze a finite element model of a current collector to assess resistance to static, harmonic and modal loads. Methodology of the final qualification work: 1. Converting a solid-state model into a finite element model, 2. Setting materials for model elements, 3. Discretization of the model into finite elements, 4. Static analysis, 5. Modal analysis, 6. Harmonic analysis, As a result, a finite element model was developed and verified, boundary conditions were determined, static, harmonic and modal analyses were carried out. The field of application of the research results is the railway and tram industries, the development of new types of current collectors. The finite element method provides accurate and reliable results, increasing the reliability and durability of current collectors, reducing maintenance costs and improving operational safety.
