The topic of the final qualification work: "Improving the energy efficiency class of an old building". The work is devoted to the study of methods and practices for improving the energy efficiency class of buildings. The tasks that were solved in the course of the study: 1. To determine the most environmentally friendly option for the renovation of the building 2. Reducing heat loss in the building 3. To study world practices to reduce heat loss 4. Conduct LCA analysis of the building after renovation 5. Calculate the environmental damage of demolition 6. Calculate the economic efficiency of building renovation In the course of the work, an analysis of the energy performance of existing buildings was carried out, with a focus on energy loads for cooling and heating. Subsequently, the results of the existing situation are evaluated using digital energy modeling, and the process moves on to the reconstruction and energy modernization of the building. As a result of the study, the most environmentally friendly materials for the renovation of the building were selected using LCA analysis. In the course of the work, the heat losses of the building after renovation were calculated. As a result of the work, the economic and environmental efficiency of the renovation of buildings was proved.
