Целью работы является изучение теоретических и методических аспектов осуществления оценки конкурентоспособности; проведение анализа конкурентоспособности компании COSCO SHIPPING Holdings Co. Ltd., ее конкурентов и разработка мер по улучшению её конкурентоспособности на международном уровне. Для достижения поставленной цели были определены следующие задачи: - рассмотреть концепции рыночной конкуренции и конкурентоспособности компаний, факторы конкурентоспособности компаний; -дать обзор существующих методов оценки конкурентоспособности компаний; - провести анализ финансовой и экономической деятельности COSCO SHIPPING Holding Co., Ltd. и оценить ее конкурентоспособности на внешних рынках; - определить проблемные области в конкурентоспособности компании; - разработать мероприятия по улучшению конкурентоспособности; - дать оценку предполагаемого эффекта от предложенного мероприятия. Объектом исследования является компания COSCO SHIPPING Holdings Co. Ltd. Предметом исследования является конкурентоспособность компании, выявление направлений улучшения конкурентоспособности компании на международном уровне. Основными методами, используемыми в рамках данной работы, выступают: методы анализа и синтеза информации, изучение научной литературы и рыночных тенденций; статистические методы. При проведении оценки конкурентоспособности использовались такие методы экономического анализа, как прямой, косвенный, сравнительный, горизонтальный, вертикальный, коэффициентный анализ. Оценка финансового состояния компании проводилась с помощью пакета MS Office (Excel). Методологическую и теоретическую основу исследования составляют базовые концепции финансового менеджмента, финансового анализа и оценки конкурентоспособности. Информационная база включает отчетность компании.

The aim of the work is to study theoretical and methodological aspects of the implementation of competitiveness assessment; Conducting an analysis of the competitiveness of Cosco Shipping Holdings Co. Ltd., its competitors and the development of measures to improve its competitiveness at the international level. To achieve the goal, the following tasks were defined: -mark the concepts of market competition and competitiveness of companies, factors of competitiveness of companies; -take an overview of existing methods for assessing the competitiveness of companies; - Conduct an analysis of the financial and economic activities of Cosco Shipping Holding Co., Ltd. and evaluate its competitiveness in foreign markets; -to determine the problem areas in the competitiveness of the company; -develop measures to improve competitiveness. - give an assessment of the alleged effect from the proposed event. The object of the study is Cosco Shipping Holdings Co. Ltd.  The subject of the study is the competitiveness of the company, identify the directions of improving the competitiveness of the company at the international level. The main methods used in the framework of this work are: methods of analysis and synthesis of information, the study of scientific literature and market trends; Statistical methods. During the assessment of competitiveness, such methods of economic analysis were used as direct, indirect, comparative, horizontal, vertical, coefficient analysis. Assessment of the financial condition of the company was carried out using the MS Office (Excel) package. The methodological and theoretical basis of the study is the basic concepts of financial management, financial analysis and assessment of competitiveness. The information base includes the companys reports.
