In the development of Gansu Province, as digital finance advances, the importance of integrating urban and rural areas has become increasingly evident. This article delves into the current application and issues of digital finance in promoting urban-rural integration in Gansu Province, analyzing its role in narrowing the urban-rural gap and fostering urban-rural integration. First, it clarifies the concepts of digital finance and urban-rural integration and examines their intrinsic connections. Second, by analyzing the current state of digital finances role in promoting urban-rural integration in Gansu Province, it highlights the practical challenges faced, such as the imbalance in urban-rural digital infrastructure, mismatches between product design and actual needs, insufficient coverage of digital financial services, and an incomplete risk prevention system. To address these issues, the article proposes corresponding countermeasures and suggestions, including the balanced development of urban-rural digital infrastructure, optimizing the design of digital financial products to better meet demand, expanding the coverage of digital financial services, and improving the risk prevention system for digital finance. These measures will help policymakers more accurately understand policy directions and promote the deep development of digital finance in urban-rural integration in Gansu Province.
