The aim of the research is to develop and test in practice a methodological technology of Teaching English Creative Writing on the Basis of Folk Tales for Chinese Bachelor Students Majoring in the English Language and Literature The research set the following goals: 1) to define pedagogical and psychological features of Chinese students as a methodological category; 2) to consider creative writing as an object of teaching; 3) to investigate the genre of folk tales from linguadidactic perspective; 4) to develop the content of teaching English creative writing on the basis of folk tales for Chinese bachelor students majoring in the English language and literature; 5) to carry out the selection of linguistic material for teaching English creative writing on the basis of folk tales for Chinese bachelor students majoring in the English language and literature; 6) to create a set of activities and tasks for teaching English creative writing on the basis of folk tales for Chinese bachelor students majoring in the English language and literature; 7) to experimentally validate the methodological technology of teaching English creative writing on the basis of folk tales for Chinese bachelor students majoring in the English language and literature.
