Object of study is a low noise amplifier (LNA) operating in the 2.4 GHz band, including its circuit topology, input and output matching networks, stability, gain, and noise figure performance. The aim is to design and simulate a high‑performance 2.4 GHz LNA that meets the receiver sensitivity and signal quality requirements of modern wireless communication systems such as Wi‑Fi and Bluetooth. The following tasks were solved: 1.Theoretical modeling of the LNA using ideal components, calculation of the bias point, stability, gain, and noise figure; 2.Schematic design and simulation in ADS, including S‑parameter analysis, noise figure optimisation, and linearity checks; 3.Layout implementation, electromagnetic (EM) co‑simulation to account for PCB parasitics, and nonlinear analysis. As a result of the study,a complete design workflow was carried out, progressing from theoretical circuit modelling to practical PCB implementation. The methods used include impedance matching techniques, stability analysis, and nonlinear simulation. As a result of the study,a 2.4 GHz LNA with low noise figure and sufficient gain was obtained. The novelty lies in the systematic integration of EM co‑simulation into the design flow, which improves the accuracy of performance prediction. The results can be applied in 2.4 GHz ISM‑band receivers, including Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth, and similar wireless systems. The following information technologies and software were used in the work: Advanced Design System (ADS) for circuit design and simulation, the Momentum module for electromagnetic co‑simulation, and standard PCB layout tools.
