The aim of the thesis is to develop and test a methodology for reliable assessment of the technical condition of key heat exchange equipment at CHP plants (network heaters and condenser) based on digital modeling in the “United Cycle” CAD system using data from the automated process control system (APCS). The following tasks have been accomplished in the work: The concepts of digital model and digital twin have been analyzed, and current trends in the digitalization of the energy sector have been reviewed; Operating modes of the PGU-450 power units at Pravoberezhnaya CHP (CHP-5) and Yuzhnaya CHP (CHP-22) have been modeled in the “United Cycle” CAD system, and their validation has been performed; A methodology for calculating the share of effective heat transfer surface of heat exchange equipment has been developed; The methodology has been tested on real operational data from two CHP plants; Degradation analysis of network heaters and the condenser has been performed. The scientific novelty of the work lies in the adaptation of the methodology for calculating the share of effective heat transfer surface to real operating conditions, taking into account the selection of operating modes. The practical significance of the thesis consists in the possibility of using the developed methodology to move from scheduled preventive maintenance to a reliable assessment of equipment condition and further to condition-based predictive maintenance of CHP equipment. This approach allows reducing the risks of unscheduled repairs and increasing the economic efficiency of the stations.
