Annotation

Günter Figal zeigt, dass die Philosophie mit der Suche nach Wahrheit beginnt, sich in dieser Suche die Frage nach dem Sein des Seienden entwickelt und sich schließlich als Metaphysik etabliert. Figal verteidigt die Metaphysik und reformuliert sie zugleich phänomenologisch. Er plädiert außerdem dafür, die Metaphysik als eine philosophische Perspektive unter anderen zu verstehen.
