The work is devoted to the study of improving monologue skills among students of the Management major and the development of a professionally oriented set of exercises for the enhancement of monologue skills in a foreign language. The tasks that were solved during the study: 1. To consider the main components that make up the monologue, identify foreign language monological skills. 2. To determine the methodological conditions for the enhancement of foreign language monologue skills among future specialists. 3. To develop a set of exercises for the enhancement of monologue skills integrated into the overall process of formation of foreign language communicative competence. 4. To approbate this set of exercises during practical classes with students, to analyze the results obtained. The objectives of this research lie in revealing the methodological concerns related to organization of the educational process for the enhancement of future managers’ abilities of foreign-language monologue speech. The pedagogical and methodological tasks that needed to be addressed comprised the study of the theoretical background connected to the foreign language teaching methods and the characteristic of the monologic speech activity; study of the possibilities and approaches of ICT and TED Talks usage in teaching a foreign language; development of exercises and activities aimed at enhancing monologue skills. As a result of the research, a set of exercises of the enhancement of monologue skills in a foreign language is proposed.
