The given work is devoted to conducting a comparative analysis between two approaches for propagation of uncertainties in Total Effective Dose Equivalent (TEDE): random uncertainty propagation, and Gaussian random uncertainty propagation. As a result, the most important input parameters were estimated using the two approaches, and TEDE was estimated for both approaches. The uncertainty propagation was assessed for both approaches, and the confidence levels were identified. A comparative analysis was conducted between the two approaches. To achieve these results, information technologies were used in the work: HotSpot Health Physics Code 3.1.2 – decision support system for nuclear emergency management, Python code – A code used for obtaining random samples based on selected criteria, MS Excel – A well-known program for data analysis and representation, MS PowerPoint – A program for creating presentations.
