The title of the graduate qualification paper “Analytical reading skills development based on the rotation method for students majoring in linguistics”. The aim of the research is to develop a set of exercises for teaching analytical reading based on the Station Rotation method and to assess its effectiveness in the educational process. The research set the following goals: 1. To examine the features of teaching foreign language reading to students majoring in Linguistics; 2. To research the theoretical basis of reading as a type of speech activity, including its forms and stages of work with the text; 3. To study the principles of analytical reading skills formation. 4. To analyze the peculiarities of applying the method of rotations in teaching the skills of analytical reading in a foreign language; 5. To develop a set of exercises for teaching analytical reading using the rotation method; 6. Implement the developed set of exercises in the educational process for students majoring in Linguistics; 7. To evaluate the effectiveness of the rotational method for the analytical reading skills development. The study resulted in the development of a set of exercises for teaching analytical reading based on the Station rotation method and proving its effectiveness in the educational process.
