The theme of this study is the evolving political function of BRICS countries as collective actors in contemporary international relations, The purpose of this study is to examine the political aspirations and influence of BRICS countries in the global order. The main tasks of this study include: analyze the historical and ideological evolution of BRICS countries from economic concepts to political actors; study the achievements and strategic transformation of the 2024 Kazan Summit;  assess the impact of BRICS expansion on member economies and global multipolarity; study the role of BRICS countries in shaping alternative governance structures and their interaction with Western powers. My research findings reveal the current political direction of BRICS countries in international relations, such as the relationship between BRICS countries and the West. My research findings can be applied to fields such as international relations, economic cooperation, diplomatic practice, and policy-making. In short, the BRICS countries embody the decisive geopolitical trends of the 21st century: the erosion of unipolarity and the emergence of a chaotic and controversial polycentric order. Whether it becomes a rule maker or still a rule challenger depends on its ability to transform symbolic victories into institutional endurance. This study used case analysis, comparative research, empirical analysis, and literature analysis methods. The research findings may lay the foundation for further research on emerging powers and alternative international systems.

Основные задачи исследования включают: Анализ исторической и идеологической эволюции стран БРИКС от экономических концепций к политическим субъектам. Изучение итогов и стратегических преобразований Казанского саммита 2024 года. Оценить влияние расширения БРИКС на экономику стран-членов и глобальную многополярность. Изучение роли стран БРИКС в формировании альтернативных структур управления и их взаимодействия с западными державами. Результаты моей работы проливают свет на нынешние политические тенденции стран БРИКС в международных отношениях, такие как отношения между странами БРИКС и Западом, и мои исследования могут быть использованы в таких областях, как международные отношения, экономическое сотрудничество, дипломатическая практика, разработка политики. Короче говоря, БРИКС олицетворяет решающую геополитическую тенденцию XXI века: эрозию однополярности и хаотичное и противоречивое появление полицентричного порядка. Станет ли он нормотворцем или останется претендентом на правила, зависит от его способности превратить символическую победу в институциональную выносливость. В исследовании использовались тематический анализ, сравнительные исследования, эмпирический анализ и библиографический анализ. Результаты исследования могут заложить основу для дальнейшего изучения новых держав и альтернативных международных систем.
